Why choose Cryoskin over other fat loss treatments?

First and foremost, fat loss through diet and exercise is the least expensive method (Although, admittedly, it’s not easy.)

And, we highly recommend watching your calorie intake, eating healthy foods with a predominance of fruits, veggies & lean protein and engaging in an active lifestyle to make sure you are not taking in more calories than you are expending.

But, when you are doing all of these things and still have stubborn pockets of fat that won’t seem to budge, alternative methods can help.

There are several options out there. We think Cryoskin is the best option to slim down stubborn areas and here’s why:

1. No downtime and no side effects

You can return to normal activities immediately following the treatment since there are really no side effects! Only a very small percentage of clients experience any of the following, incredibly mild reactions:

• temporary redness and/or itchiness of the skin over the treatment area (normally lasting less than 24 hours)

• temporary, very mild swelling that lasts a few days up to a couple of weeks.

• very rarely some temporary tenderness that lasts a day or two

2. Non-invasive

Surgical fat removal methods come with all sorts of risks like infection (even death) and downtime due to anesthesia,

pain, significant swelling and bruising, etc.

3. Effective compared to other methods

Surgical methods are obviously effective. But, in comparison to other non-invasive methods, Cryoskin consistently gives the best results. Aside from Cryoskin and CoolSculpting which use cryolipolysis to kill fat cells, in the non-invasive category are devices that utilize ultrasound, radiofrequency and laser. These methods heat the fat cells but, they do not actually kill them.

(The method of action is not fully understood but it is thought that heating induces fat cells to leak out some of their contents.) This means that if you gain weight, the fat can go right back to where you tried to remove it. Plus, when we personally tried out several of these methods before deciding on Cryoskin, we didn’t see any results from a single session.

4. Results are immediate

With Cryoskin you can tell right away that it’s working! Most clients see a measurable difference in circumference of the treatment area immediately following a treatment. And, the reduction continues to occur over the next 15 days. This is in sharp contrast with other fat freezing options that tend to cause so much swelling that your full results can’t be seen for 3 months! This means that you’ve actually had to deal with looking larger over those three months plus often times you can’t even remember what you looked like before for comparison.

5. Inexpensive in comparison to other methods

Surgical fat loss methods can cost several thousand dollars. Some of the non-invasive methods can cost in the thousands too! Take CoolSculpting for example where pricing is typically $600 per applicator (and most people need several applicators for a single treatment.) When will I see my results?

For CryoSlimming, results are generally visible from the first session and are often very encouraging. However, it should be noted that the best results appear from 15 days to 3 weeks after the start of treatment and extend for several months after the end of treatment. For CryoToning, results are generally visible subtly from the first session and are at their best about 3-5 days after.

How long will my results last?

CryoSlimming treatments permanently kill fat cells. The number of fat cells in your body remains constant throughout your adult life and weight gain or loss occurs by increasing or decreasing the size of the existing fat cells. Therefore, the effects of CryoSlimming treatments are permanent due to the fact that fat cells are killed and as long as you don’t gain weight.

Will I gain weight somewhere else after the treatments?

If you don’t gain any weight, you won’t increase your fat in other areas of your body. If you do gain weight however, because your CryoSlimming treatments removed some fat cells from your problem area, the weight gain tends to be more evenly distributed (since there now are fewer fat cells to fill up in your problem area.) This leads to a more favorable distribution of fat in your body and a more pleasing shape.

How much will I lose?

Typical results after 5 slimming treatments are approximately a 20% reduction in fat.

Will it hurt?

Not at all. The treatment begins with 2 minutes of a warm massage that feels quite pleasant. Then during the cooling part of the treatment, the area can get very cold but not painful. Some clients have even told us that they like the sensation! The worst comments we’ve had about how the treatment feels state that the deep massaging of the cold wand into the fat pinches a bit and that the cold can feel a little too cold. We follow the cooling portion of the treatment with 2 more minutes of warm massage and then a manual massage. The entire treatment feels very comfortable.

Why can’t I get CryoSlimming treatments more frequently?

We have a rule of 15 days between treatments so as not to overload the lymphatic system. Also, it takes 15 days for 80% of the fat cells from the session to pass out of the body. The absolute minimum time between treatments is 12 days, but is not recommended on regular basis. It is okay if you’re going out of town but it’s not recommend to do often in order to get faster results.

How can I get the best results possible?

There are a few guidelines that will ensure you get the best results.

First, we don’t recommend working out within 2 hours before a CryoSlimming session as this can make it difficult to cool your fat cells down. (Working out directly afterwards is fine.)

Second, you should not eat any sugar for at minimum 2 hours before and after the session. The reason for this is that sugar is a strong power source for fat cells. While the cold from the treatment weakens and retracts the fat cell, consuming sugars will give it back immediate energy so the apoptosis (cell death) effect will be less efficient and could even be canceled.

Be aware: When we talk about sugar we mean all kinds of sugars including complex carbohydrates (pasta, rice, bread, cereals) and of course simple sugars (fruit, alcohol, candy, soda, sweets.)

In practice we have noticed even more improved results when avoiding sugars for 4-5 hours before and 4-5 hours after the treatment. Additionally, it would be ideal to follow a keto diet for 72 hours after the treatment.

Third, increase lymphatic drainage by manually massaging the treatment area a few times a day plus increase your water intake to help your system flush out the fat cell waste.
